Soccer Ball That Begs for Mercy When You Kick It

Exactly what it sounds like: a soccer ball that begs for mercy when you kick it.

* Though the electronics worked (which was my main contribution)(before the short circuit), the code for the 'begging for mercy' never did. *

Contribution

This was a school project that I worked on with a team of 4. I assigned members roles as well as handled most design, electronics and manufacturing of the ball. I sourced components, tested them on a breadboard, and soldered them onto the final PCB board. I took apart the soccer ball in order to arrange the electronics inside.

Improvement

This was a school project, and as school projects are, it wasn't exactly the best thing anyone's made. I was in a rush to get my part done under the time and budget restrictions. If I were to make this now, I'd use a real soccer ball instead of a foam one. I'd source better pressure sensors and speakers. I'd put the sensors under the panels and secure electronics within the inflated rubber. I'd take my time to ensure no mistakes during the manufacturing process.
