Suzuki GS650

Contribution

I disassembled a Suzuki GS650 and refurbished the chassis by removing all rust and applying new paint. I calculated the battery pack specifications needed to achieve a desired 85MPH max speed and 200 mile range. I researched and sourced components needed for completion of the project.

Improvement

I didn't get too deep into making this project a reality, but weirdly enough, I think it would've been better to start at a complete 0 instead of with a chassis. I think I got a lot of confusion trying to figure out how to turn a gas vehicle into an electric one instead of starting from first principles. It also put restrictions on my design, as the chassis was unideal to house any battery pack shape I came up with.
